Dee Dee     A Brief History     Gino's Cafe has been serving Dutchess County since 1971. This charming stone building has been a popular gathering place for over thirty years thanks to the warm hospitality of owners Linda and Egidio Pettinella and the creations of chef Joseph "Pino" Scotti. The original Gino's Cafe first opened in the Bronx in 1957 by Louis and Maria Broccoli. Poughkeepsie Journal writes, "It is comforting to know we don't have to look very far beyond our own backyard for this neighborhood restaurant ... good food close to home."
